At Dumaco we strive to ensure that every product that leaves one of our production sites meets all quality requirements, this is also reflected in our slogan: Every Part Counts!
Quality control is a continuous process. Every machining process within Dumaco includes predetermined quality procedures and control moments. And is checked by our employees against quality procedures.
Every part counts!
Control therefore takes place not only on the final product but during the various stages of the preparation and processing process. After all, the quality of the overall product is determined by the consistent quality of each individual part.
Minor deviations🔗︎
Our machines can work very accurately, but there always remains a certain deviation that can occur. This is due, for example, to the heat effect of the laser impacting the metal. Past orders may differ very slightly from each other.
Splashes, scratches and burrs🔗︎
Small imperfections such as splashes, scratches and burrs cannot be completely avoided. For example, rounding off laser-cut products can leave marks on the surface (slight scratches). In addition, during machining, scratches may occur on the underside of sheet metal due to contact with machine parts.
Quality Audits🔗︎
Besides control and assurance during production processes, Dumaco also carries out internal quality audits with great regularity. We mainly look at the final product and the way (processes) have been established.
Does the product meet all the requirements or are there still process improvements to be made? In this way, even very minor inaccuracies are detected at an early stage and, if necessary, corrected. Moreover, by examining the process, we can sometimes discover and implement efficiency benefits.
Review Round🔗︎
Before a product goes to the customer, we subject it to a final round of review. Thus, it is possible that a product may still be rejected prior to shipment to the customer.
Production rework.
In this unusual case, we rework and make every effort to correct a rejected product as soon as possible. Products that do not meet Dumaco's quality standards will not be shipped out.
