How do you reduce residual material?

With our modern software, we create the most efficient cutting program possible based on your drawing. As a result, the parts in the plates are optimally arranged, so-called nesting. This limits the waste flow of residual material and is therefore sustainable. The remaining residual material is of course separated and delivered back to the producers. In this way, nothing goes to waste.

What happens to Dumaco's cutting waste?

Dumaco's production processes are strongly focused on reducing unnecessary material consumption. Less waste is better for the environment than recycling waste. The residual pieces that do arise are collected separately so that they can be reused. With metals, scrap is an indispensable raw material in the production process. Through recycling, the vast majority of aluminum and steel waste produced can be reused again and again to produce new materials.
