Pricing🔗︎

If you upload and set your product and/or parts in the Dumaco Portal, we will immediately show you the price and estimated delivery time for these specifications.

What costs do you charge?🔗︎

With your order, we charge the following costs: packaging and transportation, import. This will be listed with your quote.

Ordering large quantities🔗︎

We charge a setup fee per order line. t is advisable to look at this, when you have divide several quantities of the same article over several order lines. Set-up costs are costs incurred to set up the machines. These are automatically divided among the unit prices.

Do you also offer quantity discounts?🔗︎

Yes, for large quantities this is automatically factored into the price. This quantity discount is automatically distributed over the unit prices.

What is the most profitable price?🔗︎

You get a more profitable price with us if you choose budget delivery. In that case, we can schedule your order efficiently with other orders and you will see that benefit reflected in your price.

I made a small change to my drawing and now the quote is much higher/lower?🔗︎

A small change in the drawing can have 'big' consequences. The price of laser cutting is determined by several factors.

  • Dimensions of product. A large part of the price is determined by the material. All products in a quotation are nested together by material type and thickness to determine material requirements. A small adjustment in dimensions can sometimes cause a large difference in nesting (and therefore material requirements).
  • Chosen material/thickness. The material and thickness chosen has a major impact on the price. Materials vary (considerably) in price. Machining time depends on the cutting speeds and insertion times determined by the chosen material and thickness. Nevertheless, it is sometimes interesting to make products as much as possible from the same material and thickness, as this saves time changing materials and also often makes nesting more efficient.
  • Sharp contours. A cutting machine cannot make a sharp curve at full speed. To determine the price, we perform a simulation. A design with (many) sharp curves takes more time, increasing the cost.
  • Cutting holes. To cut a contour, the laser must first penetrate the material. Especially in thicker material, making the insertion takes a relatively long time. Products with many holes and recesses are therefore more expensive than products that require less cutting.
  • Material prices. Material prices are adjusted weekly. Therefore, your no-obligation quote may be higher or lower the next day.

What kind of pricing is used?🔗︎

The Dumaco Portal uses dynamic, automated pricing. These are automatically generated by our software. This allows us to react quickly to fluctuating purchase prices. Prices of materials are adjusted weekly. Calculations made earlier may turn out differently (higher/lower) with a new calculation. In addition, the pricing may also change if you log in again: it is therefore possible that your free quote will be higher or lower the next day.
