Notifications in part options🔗︎

In the part options screen, the following messages may be displayed:

  • Invalid combination.
  • Invalid combination: Material - Sheet thickness
  • Invalid combination: Material - Orientation
  • Invalid choice
  • Invalid choice: Deburring

Invalid combination🔗︎

The selected combination is not possible. This can be recognized because the material type, sheet thickness or orientation are shown in a red text color. Please choose another combination. The available options are indicated by a black text color.

Material - Sheet thickness🔗︎

The chosen combination between material and plate thickness is not possible because the material in the chosen plate thickness is not available. Please choose another material or plate thickness.

Automatic recognition of plate thickness

From a 3D file, the plate thickness is predefined. This plate thickness is automatically recognized in the preselection. This cannot be changed.

Material - Orientation🔗︎

The selected combination between material and orientation is not possible. This is because the possibilities depend on the dimensions of the product, the selected material and selected operations. Please choose another material type or orientation.

Invalid choice🔗︎

The selected choice is not possible. This can be recognized because the finishing operation is indicated in a red text color. Choose another finishing method.

Deburring🔗︎

The selected post-processsing method for deburring is not available. This is because the finishing method depends on the material type and sheet thickness. In the Dumaco Portal, single-sided or double-sided edge rounding can be selected. Small parts will be tumbled. If you get this message, you should choose another finishing method.
